Fall & Winterizing

We always have a winterizing special starting in the fall.  Please call for an appointment.

We schedule service for big repair projects, like new walls, roofs, and floors throughout the winter. Projects this size tend to clutter up our shop when its busy.

We have started doing interior remodeling, such as carpets wall paneling etc.

Have your sanitized your fresh water system recently?

The rubber roof manufacturer suggests that you clean the roof thoroughly 3-4 times a year. In addition you must twice a year carefully check the sealants for cracks, splits, holes etc that will allow water to enter the trailer. If your unit is over 2 years old, we strongly recommend having it checked for roof and wall leaks with our SEALTECH system. This is the gold standard for finding leaks.

If you change vehicles or Rv's, we need to readjust your weight distribution hitch. Your hitch requires very precise adjustments or it may not work, even worse it may be unsafe.

Call TCRV today….we are experts at virtually every area of RV repair, maintenance, or reconstruction. Wind, water, or collision damage, we make it easy to get back to the great outdoors as quickly as possible. We are now a preferred provider for most insurance and extended warranty companies.

Are you considering buying a camper from a private owner?  Before you sign the dotted line, bring it in for a thorough inspection (by appointment please), and should you decide to go ahead and make the purchase, we would be happy to help with your hitching and wiring needs.

Seal Tech Patented Roof Leak-Detection System

We here at TCRV strongly suggest having this done to your motorhome, travel trailer, or fifth wheel EVERY YEAR. This is "Cheap Insurance" against having having to replace a wall, roof, or floor.

No manufacturer covers water leaks under warranty. Water leaks are always considered a lack of owner maintanance regardless how old the unit is. This process is the "Gold Standard" in terms of how to find and repair water leaks. We suggest that you also inspect your sealants twice a year as even the best leak diagnosis isn't foolproof.

RV Owners Usually Discover a Roof Leak This Way

"Something Smells Funny!"                        Warped, Swollen Cabinet Trim

Soggy, rotten wood, sagging ceiling.

Don't wait until you see damage.
Let us find the leak(s) now.

Seal Tech is a patented system that pressurizes the entire RV very slightly, so roof and seam leaks can be located by a simple soap bubble test – often far removed from the location of the interior damage.

The Seal-Tech device is attached to an open roof vent so it can pull air into the coach and slightly pressurize the entire RV.We then spray a soap solution on exterior seams where a water leak might be suspected. The pressurized air inside the coach will find any leaky spot that might let water in during a rain. Tiny bubbles appear – sometimes great big bubbles.

The final result of the test is a series of sketches showing the leaky seams that need sealing. Obviously, it is better to do the test and any needed re-sealing before interior damage occurs.
